Local authorities in Eastern Serbia are extremely helpful and willing to help develop the economy. Each municipality has developed its own system of incentives in accordance with its competencies and priorities, and some of them are:
- Exemption of part of the fee for the use of construction land,
- Providing a personal assistant who accompanies the investor in the investment process,
- Special services at the service of investors,
- Provision of necessary communal infrastructure (road, water…),
- Special subsidies from local budgets (subsidies for agricultural production, subsidies to employers for employment of unemployed persons, workers' education programs, professional practices, etc.),
- Reduction of rent for business premises for investors, depending on the number of employees.
- Space for training of workers free of charge,
- Support in applying for excellent subsidies and incentives from the state level
In addition, most municipalities have infrastructural and planned industrial zones available to potential investors.
